The Community Foundation of West Kentucky will award micro-grants to nonprofit organizations working to meet community needs. The chosen organizations will receive a $1,000 micro-grant.
The Community Foundation of West Kentucky is now accepting applications from area nonprofits, churches, and schools that serve the communities of Western Kentucky in the areas of Community Arts, Education, Health Awareness, Children’s Programs, and Community Improvement.
Applications will be accepted until 4:00 p.m. on March 1, 2025. Each application will be reviewed for eligibility. Applicants must be defined as a tax-exempt charitable organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Selection is at the sole discretion of the Community Foundation of West Kentucky Grants Committee with the approval of the Board of Directors as to which applications are accepted and awarded a grant. While a limited amount of funds is available, each area of interest will be funded. Submission of an application does not guarantee an award.
New in 2025, the Philanthropy 360 micro-grant is accepting applications submitted by students in the Murray State University Nonprofit Leadership Studies “NLS” program. NLS students will self-select nonprofits to collaborate with and apply for the grant application. One overall $1,000 award will be awarded to the NLS applicant pool.
Nonprofit attendance at the Philanthropy 360 event on Friday, March 21, 2025, is required. Grants will be announced and distributed at the event. Alternates will be chosen for those selected organizations not in attendance.
The Philanthropy 360 luncheon will be held at Studio 200, in Paducah, Kentucky, located at 209 Marine Way, Paducah, KY 42003, from 11:30 to 1:30 P.M. Refreshments will be provided.
