To celebrate the Southside Neighborhood Revitalization Program, the Community Development Department is hosting a fun, fall-themed community event at Robert Coleman Park, located at 1100 Walter Jetton Blvd. The Fall for Southside event will take place on Saturday, October 3 from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.
This free community event will feature music, games and activities for children, pony rides, face painting, pumpkins, and pumpkin painting. Free food will also be available while supplies last including chicken strips, nachos, and BBQ.
For the safety of attendees, Caldwell Street from Walter Jetton Blvd. to South 9th Street will be closed to vehicular traffic from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. on October 3.
Community Development Department staff will be available to answer questions about housing incentive programs and the Southside Revitalization Plan, which was adopted by the Paducah Board of Commissioners in August 2025.
The goals of the event are simple: enjoy a day in the park, celebrate the Southside neighborhood, and connect with neighbors.
