On Monday, May 11, crews will begin milling and paving projects on several roads on the west side of Paducah. The following roads will be milled and paved:
- Olivet Village Subdivision (includes Quail Covey Court, Royal Tern Court, Sandpiper Circle, and Shelldrake Lane).
- Plantation Village Subdivision (includes Legends Drive and Partridge Lane).
- Buckner Lane between Hansen Road and North Friendship Road.
The projects, which will be completed by Jim Smith Contracting, are expected to last approximately five days, weather permitting. Residents in the project area are requested not to use on-street parking while paving operations are underway.
Please use caution, watch for the work crews, and respect the traffic control devices and flaggers. Crews will work to maintain access to residents and provide one lane of traffic flow; however, brief detours may be necessary during intermittent closures.
The City of Paducah maintains more than 220 miles of streets.
